Operation Organization, LLC -- now KB Squared Away!

KB Squared Away is a professional organizing and Business Support Service firm based in Waterford, CT. which was started in 2003 by Karen "kb" Bryant, CPO.

Operation Organization has been serving small businesses, non-profit organizations, and residential clients since inception. We are a member of NAPO and NAPO-CT (National Association of Professional Organizers and Connecticut Chapter). In October 2007 we added more comprehensive business services and changed the name to: KB Squared Away.

The KBs also holds workshops and other seminars to help employers maximize the efficiency and morale of their staff, as well as individuals who would like to get everyone squared away!

Why "KB Squared Away"? When two KBs like Kevin and Karen join forces, the possibilities to service clients grows exponentially, thus KB Squared. Then you add what we do for our clients...get them all Squared Away and there it is: KB Squared Away!

Owner

Karen Bryant or "kb", as she is known to most, has a varied background in business management.
Eight years were spent in a corporate atmosphere and ten years in the small business realm. In that time, she has choreographed the organization of many employees, systems, and offices.

KB has a Bachelors Degree in Design and Resource Management from the University of Connecticut. She planned to start Operation Organization in 2003 to do the work she loves full time for more than just a single employer.

KB gave the keynote address at the MOMS International Connecticut Chapter Luncheon in 2006, she has spoken at StoneRidge Retirement Community to incoming residents regarding downsizing. She has also presented on Time Management at the Department of Justice, Office of Victim Services training session. KB has held a series of talks on organization at the Mystic-Noank Library. KB has also held successful workshops on Personal Organization.

Business Coach

Kevin Burrell has served as an account executive in the Mortgage Industry since 2003. Previously, he served as Direct Marketing Services Manager in the insurance industry. While in this position, Kevin was chosen by his peers to Facilitate Corporate Inclusion and Diversity Training. This required 5 days of facilitator training with the Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group. He has over 10 years of corporate experience as a focus team leader and facilitator for groups that included – Best Practices, Process Improvements and Strategic Initiatives.

Kevin, or "Big KB" as he is called, has a B. S. degree in Graphic Arts Management from Central Connecticut State University.

He has worked with several small business owners to regain control and grow their businesses successfully.
